Politehnica Timisoara football team won, 2-0 (0-0), the friendly match against Avântul Periam, played on the synthetic pitch of the Politehnica No. 2 Football Base.

It was a victory that was shaped at the end, by the goals of newcomers D. Popa (in min. 80, the Polite goal scorer scoring with a long corner kick, from the penalty box, following a personal action on the left side) and Prună (min. 90, a nice shot from the edge of the box, immediately after which the whistle blew for the end of the game).

Coach Codrea could not count on Olariu and Marincu (injured, along with Huminic and Careba, who have been missing for a long time), but Rotariu returned. Murariu was only a substitute today.
