Dan Alexa: “There were two moments that we judged wrong”

The main coach of Politehnica was disappointed by the failure suffered by Politehnica, score 0-1, on the field of U Craiova 1948 in the second stage of the League 2 play-off.

“Unfortunately, I gave them this victory as a gift, there were some very big individual mistakes. It was a balanced game, where we certainly weren’t allowed to lose. Congratulations to Craiova for the victory. It’s a very important victory for them, unfortunately we leave without any points, but in many moments we were at least equal to them “, said Dan Alexa.

“There were two moments that we misinterpreted. That penalty and the goal phase. We missed the chance, because we had two very big situations in the end, from which it is harder to miss than not to score, but this is football. We have to draw the right conclusions after this game and play with Rapid to victory. We have the goal of the dam places, there are 24 more points at stake, anything can happen! ”, said the white-violet coach.
