Poli of America Supporters Group, the non-profit organization of Politehnica Timișoara supporters overseas, part of Druckeria 360, established the details of the second convention, two years after the first official meeting of its members.

After a difficult year of 2020, which prevented the fans from seeing each other again in Chicago, at the headquarters of the “Romanian Tribune” run by Steven Bonica, technical sponsor of these meetings, 2021 proposes a new meeting location: St. Paul, Minnesota. This is until 2022, when the “Romanian Heritage Center”, the new “house” of the Tribune, will operate in its own building, certain thing that Steven has been working on for about a year, helped by his teammates Radu Răcean from Timişoara and Marcel Șomfelean from Bistrița. They have already been joined by an impressive number of friends eager to fulfill the dream of having a Romanian Home for the community, where all Poli supporters will be hosted whenever they plan a meeting.

The CEO of the organization, Narcis Dragan, who has the role of keeping up to date all the North American Poli Fans, official membership card holders and not only, provided us with some details about the program and the surprises set up with the team of organizers, which has Tudor Felea as a main host.

“This North American 2nd Convention, as we have Membership Card Holders from the United States and Canada and also lots of other Politehnica, Timişoara and Banat friends, will be hosted at “Poli of Minnesota” mobile headquarters between September 17 and 19, 2021 in St. Paul. This one will have a very attractive program, which interacts with “Romanians’ Day“, also celebrated in St. Paul on the Saturday of September 18th and officially called “Taste of Romania”. To find out the details in regards with the Convention, those interested can contact us either at narcis.dragan@sspolitehnica.ro or at contact@poliofamerica.us. Anyway, all the North-Americans have already been contacted, but, who knows? We might have missed someone, despite we hope this didn’t happen. It’s a fact that we will have many surprises for the attendants, but we are working on another one, a major one for us, having Ramon Radosav fully involved to make it real. We’ll be waiting for confirmations for attendance until July 31, 2021″.

Tudor Felea, main host and responsible for the proper functioning of www.poliofamerica.us website, altogether with Ovidiu Mara: “This event will have as special guests that will create an explosive atmosphere the same boys with whom we went on the road back in 2019, in Chicago. We’re speaking about the already famous Romanian band “Vox Maris“ from the same city of Chicago, featuring the New Yorker Ramon Radosav, ex-Cargo. We will also have performing Romell Alaman on the stage, one of our folk artists, from hosts’ side. We really hope for another surprise, we won’t reveal it yet until we have the confirmation. Those who want to support us can do so by donating through the “Donate” button on our website, www.poliofamerica.us, or through the GoFundMe link. We’ll try to help as much as we can, all the funds will go to Druckeria Timişoara Supporters Association, for Politehnica Youth Academy”.

The boys assured us that the most important moments of the event will be broadcast live over the Internet and they will keep us informed about how to remotely watch live sequences.
