Politehnica Timisoara has a new striker. Sebastian Serediuc has signed a two-season contract with our club.

Sebastian Robert Serediuc was born on 23 February 2000 in Călan (Hunedoara). He is a striker and also holds Spanish citizenship. He played his junior football for Lleida Esportiu, a club for which he also made the step up to senior football in the Spanish third division. In Romania he played for Minaur Baia Mare, CFR Cluj and Unirea Dej, where he was loaned by the Romanian champions for the spring season. He scored four goals in eight appearances in the return leg of the 2020-21 edition of League 3. He also played for Dejeni in the four games of the promotion play-off, contributing to Unirii’s promotion to League 2 with a goal in the semi-finals.

“I’m glad I managed to get to Politehnica. I hope to be on a good watch and score as many goals as possible. I want to achieve the goal of getting into the play-offs and then achieve promotion to League 1 for our supporters. I want to form a good team. I know it’s a club with a history behind it and the city deserves to get back to where it was,” Sebastian Serediuc.

How many more goals in the blue and white, “Sere”!
