Daniel Dumitru Benzar was born on 30 December 1997, in Timișoara. He is a wing midfielder by trade, but can also play in other positions in the attacking midfield. He started football at LPS Banatul and is ambidextrous. At senior level he played for FCSB, Academica Clinceni, FC Voluntari, Dunărea Călărași and FC Rapid. “I’m glad to be back in Timisoara, with a team of tradition, and I hope to promote us to League I. Timisoara’s place is there, not in League 2. I expect the supporters to come in large numbers to the stadium to help us achieve our goal”, Daniel Benzar

Welcome home, Daniele!
