Polytechnic supporters from across the pond are reuniting this weekend for the second Blue and White Convention dedicated to our club, which will take place September 17-19 in the “Twin Cities” of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minn.
“Poli of America Supporters Group“, their legal entity, brings together this time only supporters from the United States, unfortunately those from Canada will not be able to join them due to closed borders for health safety reasons imposed by health authorities. Even so, there will be about 30 people at the meeting on Friday evening, when the main event dedicated to Polytechnics takes place. On Saturday, the 18th, the day of the annual festival of Romanians in the North American state, “Taste of Romania”, they will be joined by 9 more policemen.

The “Vox Maris Band” from Chicago, made up of 5 Romanians, will have on stage Ramon Radosav, former member of the band “Cargo”, and local host Romell Alaman, a folk artist appreciated by the local community.
In the same line-up, but without Romell, the Chicago band and Ramon will also electrify the atmosphere on Saturday at the festival, where they will put on a great show for the Romanians of Minnesota singing on behalf of the Politehnica club.
We would like to thank all those who made this possible, from local sponsors from various states to the supporters themselves, who gave their full support to make this second “episode” a great one by supporting the organisational expenses.
The full convention programme can be found on their website, https://poliofamerica.us/projects.html. Those in charge of the meeting have assured us that there will be a number of pleasant surprises over the three days from Friday to Sunday, both for those attending and for the 30 or so others who will not be able to make it but whose absences have been excused until next year.
Conclusions
