Politehnica Timisoara ended today by mutual agreement the collaboration with coach Dorin Toma. We would like to thank him for his professionalism and effort during his time at our club and wish him every success in his career!

“We have reached an agreement with the club management. Unfortunately after the last negative results, recorded in the last minutes, 90 and 92, it is normal to have a shock in the team. It’s an amicable agreement and it’s best for Poli. We have to move on, we have to make this psychological moment felt by the players to overcome that problem of the last phase or the last minute. Because otherwise we were in a much better position in the standings with the points we had in hand. It’s the smallest sacrifice, the coach’s sacrifice, a good decision on both sides. The important thing is the good of the team and we hope that Politehnica will have positive results from now on”, Dorin Toma

For Saturday’s game against Dacia Unirea Brăila, the interim coach will be Antonio Foale, supported by the staff composed of Petru Țurcaș (goalkeeping coach), Adrian Rus (physiokinetic therapist), Marius Inciulescu (physiotherapist) and Remus Datcu. The latter will act as physical trainer and is also active in the Politehnica Academy.
