Politehnica Timisoara Academy launches a new innovative project in youth football. Through the action Politehnica 100 Open Trials the children and juniors center of our club invites all footballers born in 2006 and 2009 for a weekend at our training base.

Professor Cristian Gălan, coach at the Academy, together with members of the technical staff, will conduct training sessions and school games for 3 days and will evaluate the participating athletes in order to select them for performance. The selected athletes will have the opportunity to join an academy ranked in the Top 10 in Romania, according to the ranking drawn up by the Romanian Football Federation. The action is aimed at all footballers born between 2006 and 2009, regardless of the club they play for or their level of training, trying to discover talents and characters in line with the values of the university club.

Politehnica Timișoara offers, within the limit of available places, accommodation and meals for 2006 athletes who require it. By doing so, we also want to give footballers from rural areas or other counties the chance to show what they can do during this weekend.

Registrations for the event can be made via the following FORM

Details of the event can be obtained via email – contact@sspolitehnica.ro or by calling 0743.011.770.

“This event is first and foremost an invitation to all athletes, but especially those from rural areas, to get to know Politehnica and feel a little of what this club is all about in its centenary year. We want to attract as many talented children as possible to the event, who will have the chance to train for 3 days according to the methodology and philosophy of our academy, one of the top at national level, and we will evaluate their football level. Based on the evaluations we will be able to make recommendations to improve their skills and develop their qualities in order to take the step towards great performance. I sincerely hope that this action will be just the first, and that in the future these “open doors” will be organized as often as possible, for all age groups”, Cristian Gălan
