Politehnica Timisoara is a club in constant development. We are constantly trying to keep up with the top trends in the football industry, and in the coming period we will be implementing a project that aims at a much stricter analysis of our players’ performances. We will purchase a professional GPS monitoring system for the athletes, the data collected will then be analysed and various reports will be generated based on the data.

Are you passionate about football and numbers? Do you like working with tables and discovering the links between different data sets? Are you keen to learn something new and specialise in an early stage field? Then you’re the perfect person for us!

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst at our club, who will work closely with the first team and senior junior (U19) players to monitor activity during training and matches, interpreting data and generating reports based on it. Politehnica Timisoara will provide intensive training together with Miodrag Todorov, physical trainer at the Politehnica Timisoara Academy and specialist in Sport Science.

If we’ve piqued your interest send us an email at contact@sspolitehnica.ro with a CV and subject “Junior Data Analyst application + your name”. We are waiting for you!

The sports project is realized with the support of Timisoara City Hall and Timisoara City Council, funded through the Timisoara City Projects Centre.
