The Blue and Whites begin their centrally-scheduled training camp on Monday 17 January, up to and including 28 January. Coach Nicolae Croitoru has 24 players at his disposal during this training period.

“During this period the players will have two training sessions per day. We will start on Monday morning, at 10:00 we have the first training session. The first week we will finish on Saturday with the morning training, then we will leave them free and from Monday we will return with the morning training and we will leave on Friday, January 28, after the first training, and the end of the week will be free“, explained Nicolae Croitoru, Politehnica’s head coach.

The players will be accommodated during the training camp at Politehnica House No. 2. Cosmin Bîrnoi and Sebastian Serediuc, both absent for medical reasons, are not part of the squad. The former is to undergo an MRI investigation.

“It is a period in which the main objective is related to the physical factor, but not only, because we will also work on the technical-tactical. We will alternate, there are days when we have strength and technical-tactical training and days when we have physical on the pitch and technical-tactical. At least in the coming days we will train at Base 2, because the state of the fields does not allow us to go elsewhere. If we talk about the grass fields, the main impediment at the moment is the fact that they are frozen… We will see how the weather will evolve, if things improve we will look for solutions to train on grass fields“, concluded Nicolae Croitoru.
