Bogdan Andone, head coach of Politehnica, talked about today’s draw, which established the order of the white-violet’s opponents in the new season of League 2. We remind you that our team debuts in the 2022-23 season with a home match against Unirii Constanta, followed by an away game against CSC Șelimbăr.

“It’s a good schedule from my point of view, but we have to take advantage of the fact that we’re playing our first game at home and win it. That’s the most important thing. Otherwise, it’s good that we’ve avoided synthetic pitches on the road: Progresul Spartac and Metaloglobus, on the other hand, we also have very long trips, like Galați, Slobozia, and they are very difficult teams. Steaua, Dinamo, away, two other long and difficult away trips at the same time. In the end it’s good that we have Dumbrăvița and Ripensia away, we practically get rid of two trips and we have an extra game at home. Overall it’s a good goal for Poli, but, as I said, I hope to take advantage of this fact and collect as many points as possible”, said Bogdan Andone, Politehnica’s head coach.

“It’s not going to be an easy match at all, especially since it’s the first match of the season. It’s never an easy match – the first of the season, we have so many examples, that’s why we have to be as well prepared and motivated as possible to start the new season on the right foot!”, concluded the coach of the white-violet team about the first round match against Unirea Cța.
