We are pleased to announce that Italian goalkeeper Matteo Kucich and Swedish striker Oliver Brynéus are new players for Politehnica. The former has signed a one-season deal with the right to extend for another season, while the latter has signed a one-year deal with our club.

Matteo Kucich was born on 1 October 1998 in Triest (Italy). He grew up with Udinese and Frosinone (Primavera). He also played for Città di Rieti, Como, FC Trapani, Pisa and Cavese. For the latter he played in 21 Serie C matches. Last season he was a teammate of Marius Marin at Pisa, a club that lost the Serie A promotion play-off final.

“I’m happy for this new adventure, but I’m not here just passing through. I’m here to try to make my mark! And to restart my career by bringing Poli where it belongs. Come on Poli!”, Matteo Kucich

Oliver Brynéus was born on 5 September 1998 in Halmstad (Sweden). An attacking player, Oliver plays both as a left midfielder and as a striker. He grew up in Halmstad BK and played in the United States at the collegiate level for the CB Lancers and Stetson Hatters. He also played in his home country for Vinbergs and most recently for IS Halmia.

“I’m very excited to be here in Timisoara. I trained for a week with the guys, I really like the team and the coaches a lot. The city is very nice and I can’t wait to start playing, of course,” Oliver Brynéus

Benvenuto, Matteo!

Välkommen Oliver!
