Politehnica Timisoara has reached an agreement with coach Bogdan Andone regarding the termination of his contract. We would like to thank him for his efforts in his second term at the helm of the club and wish him every success in his career as a coach.
“I was persuaded to come to Poli first of all by the people from Druckeria, the most devoted supporters of a Romanian team. Some who not only declare their love for the team, but also spend their money for it. And because these people resigned from the Board of Directors, I decided that in a spirit of solidarity with them I would leave too. I hope that with my departure, the money that was promised in the summer when I came to the team will be invested. It would be a pity if the struggle of Druckeria in the ten years since this beautiful project has been in vain.
It may seem strange to those just looking at the points, but the team was starting to play. And the opponents in recent games can confirm that. But for the future of the team, which needs money, I’m leaving. I hope things will change urgently and Poli will get results. We need a president, we need a professional management and the players need to feel the support of the club. I wish good luck to those who come to the team!”, said Bogdan Andone.
The former coach of the blue and white also made the following points:
“I want to thank the players for the way we worked together and for the hard work, the technical and auxiliary staff (doctor, masseur, masseuse). And last but not least, the supporters, for their support in all the games played, home and away!
I strongly believe in this team and I am convinced that it will achieve the results the supporters want!
Forward Politehnica!”
Early next week we will be back with more news about the staff of Politehnica Timisoara.
