In the 9th round our team played away in Mioveni against CSA Steaua Bucharest.

Cosmin Bîrnoi opened the scoring in the 29th minute of the first half with a shot into the long corner. But despite this, the game was clearly dominated by the home team who, not two minutes after the restart, were awarded a penalty after a late intervention by Bocșan. The spot kick was taken by Chipirliu who sent it well over the goal. Thereafter the game was played positively by both sides, with no clear scoring opportunities.

If in the first half our team, coached by Octavian Benga, had “a word to say” against the red and blue, the same cannot be said about the second half of the match. With goals scored by Chipirliu and Chunchukov, Steaua came back on the scoreboard. Until the end the Boys in Boots played a poor game and had no answer against the hosts.
