A visit today to the legendary Iosif Lereter (89 years old), winner of the Romanian Cup in 1958 with Știința, who returned to Timisoara from Germany. “Loli” was presented with a diploma of honour and an “updated” Politehnica shirt. He was joined by Petre Mehedințu (another former great white-violet footballer), Iosif Talpoș (former rector of UVT), Ovidiu Cuc (executive president of the club), journalist Nicolae Secoșan and Viorel Vișan (winner of the 1980 Romanian Cup).
