A businessman from Timisoara, Vasile Leordean, plans to organise a youth tournament in Timisoara in September, with at least four famous clubs from Western football.

To this end, a meeting of a working group was held yesterday at the Politehnica No. 2 base. The meeting was attended by the deputy mayor of Timisoara, Cosmin Tabără, the sub-prefect Sorin Ionescu, representatives of the Timis County Council, managers and coaches of the Politehnica Timisoara football team. A special item on the agenda was the extremely serious situation of the city’s sports infrastructure.
