Politehnica lost today, 0-1 (0-0) against Corvinul Hunedoara, in a friendly played at the Dan Paltinisanu stadium. It was played without spectators (the arena cannot host public matches), on a fairly good pitch and in cold, windy but sunny weather in the first half.

The blue and whites went in with the basic formula and until half-time no goals were scored. With the start of the second half, the sun broke through the clouds and more outfield players came on for Poli. The Hunedoren, coached by Florin Maxim (former UMT and FC Timisoara left back), scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute through M. Coman.
