After the match in Baia Mare, coach Octavian Benga told us, “A match on a very difficult court, a game of struggle, to which I think we responded well. Baia Mare didn’t surprise us with anything, they played exactly as we knew. Unfortunately, we conceded two goals very easily. The first one after a chain mistake, the other one after a gift, a bad pass in the middle. All in all, I think we didn’t deserve to lose, at least we should have got a draw from the look of the game, because we had, at 1-1, a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper and if we had scored then Baia Mare would certainly have been mentally down and the win would have gone to us. An undeserved result, but the game waits for mistakes and it’s a pity that we lost a point or points in Baia Mare”.
