Politehnica’s two consecutive victories, 2-1 against Miercurea Ciuc and Slobozia, put an end to an incredible series of official matches in which the team failed to win at least two games in a row. The last time that happened was on 28 November 2021, a 2-1 win over CSA Steaua (home, pictured) after a 1-0 win over FC Brasov (away), both in League II.
