A player with a Celerbu name has signed for two years with Politehnica Timisoara. Iosif Rotariu. It’s a coincidence of name and surname with the former Italian World Cup international.

Iosif Liviu Rotariu (from now on we will call him Iosif L. Rotariu) was born on 11 June 2002 in Bozovici. He is from Prigor, like Iosif “the elder”, but they are not related. Iosif “the youngest” started playing football late, at the age of 14, with the junior team of Nera Bozovici. He then played for Luceafărul Drobeta Tr. Severin and CSM Reșița, after which he made the step to the seniors, returning to Nera Bozovici, in the IV League. He followed, also in Caras-Severin, Progresul Ezeriș (League III), where he played until this summer.

He plays as a defensive midfielder or centre half (4-3-3 system).
