Politehnica Timisoara lost their first match of the year, 1-3 (1-2) against CSU Alba Iulia.

The guests led 2-0 with goals scored in the 29th and 38th minutes. Marincu, who wore the captain’s armband at the start (as Bocșan, as well as other key players, came on at half-time), reduced the deficit in the 44th minute, directly from a free kick. The final score was set in the 67th minute. Poli had one goal (Prună, in the 78th minute), but with the right of substitution.

Rotariu is still injured and several juniors from the enlarged squad were left at the disposal of the Youth League team, which also played a training game today.
