Sunday, February 16, will be the last event (called “Goodbye, Great Oval! – The legend continues!”) at the legendary Dan Paltinisanu Stadium before it is demolished for reconstruction.

Event program:
15:30 – Opening of the event
16:00 – Demonstration soccer matches. Politehnica Timișoara old-boys, Politehnica Timișoara, Politehnica Timișoara Femina.
17:30 – Music & projections. With Dani Tobe and the band Noi din Banat
Ora 18:40 – Video projection – The history of the stadium in pictures
19:00 – Official speeches & special guests
19:15 – Concert Cargo
20:30 – Symbolic closing moment
There will be workshops to make Poli flags and pennants, a laser show and a choreographic moment by Druckeria

Admission is free. For safety reasons, public access is allowed only inside the stadium, on the field and on the athletics track. There will be a special area in the stadium for the purchase of food and drinks.

The “Goodbye, El Monumental!” exhibition in the stands will also be open until February 16.

The organizer of the event is Timis County Council, and the partners are Politehnica University of Timisoara, Druckeria Timisoara Supporters Association and TVR Timisoara.
