Politehnica achieved seven consecutive victories at the end of the regular season of the 3rd League! The series started on November 16, and the record in these games is 19-1! The only goal was conceded in the last round of the fall season (2-1 against Avântul Periam, the last-placed Avântul Periam), from the penalty spot, at 2-0 to the white-violets. It was only then that Poli finally climbed into the play-off places.

And the average age of the 27 players in the Polist squad is only 19.78 years old!!!! In their first season out of their juniors, as it were….

The last time Poli was at the top of the standings was on March 14, 2021, after the 19th round of the League II (two rounds before the end of the regular season)! And if we are talking about the end of a section of the championship (regular season/play-off/play-out), in the 3rd League, 4th series, 2015/16 edition, that is nine years ago! Back then, the system was regular season only, and the Timisoara side were promoted to the second tier.
