©️ #1921 Today is the day we remember a legend of Politehnica Timișoara. 87 years ago, Costică Rădulescu, the charismatic coach with 3 terms at the helm of the “students”, was born. The 2nd term (1988-91) resulted in the #whitepurple team reaching from Division B to the European Cups.

✌️ In the autumn of 1990, Costică Rădulescu’s Politehnica produced a surprise of continental proportions, eliminating Atlético de Madrid in UEFA Cup.

⭐️ At the initiative of the club and our supporters a street near the arena “Dan Păltinişanu” was named “Costică Rădulescu” and on one of the walls, there’s a “mural” with his portrait and the famous words: “All shall pass, money shall pass, but these…these are to tell your children and grandchildren!” Words well imprinted in our thoughts and spoken to the players of UMT in 1998 on the occasion of the quarter-final from the Romanian Cup against Dinamo București. Costică Rădulescu left us on July 8, 2002, at the age of 68.

⚠️ More information about his career you can read in an remember article on the Druckeria website (Ro.): bit.ly/3uONpT4.
