DAN ALEXA: “IT’S A VICTORY THAT CAN TAKE A GOOD TO VERY GOOD COURSE AFTER IT!”

Dan Alexa, the head coach of the Polytechnic, was satisfied with the three points obtained by the white-violets at the end of the game with Gloria Buzău, score 2-0, a match that counted for the 16th stage of League 2. “It was a complicated match, a difficult match, I met a good team of the Second League that caused problems for all teams. A team that aims for the playoffs, although it cannot promote. It was a balanced match in the first half, they surprised us in the central area, then we were more consistent in the second half. And I cut the game. I think I deserved the victory, I congratulate the boys! Today was a very good refereeing, a deserved and very important victory. As you know, there are ten teams in six positions. Our immediate goal is to reach the playoffs and any wrong step can count enormously in the end “, said Dan Alexa. The coach of the Polytechnic also spoke about the different approach of this match, compared to the match lost in the Romanian Cup a week ago: “It differs a little, the stakes were very high today, even if Astra was a top level opponent, to be lost, because in any situation, as it happened – we were eliminated from the Romanian Cup – it is not the end of the country. But if we hadn’t taken the three points today, it would have been difficult for us in the perspective of the next matches. This team needs victories, we have a good team at the moment, with experienced players, good players. It is a victory that can follow a good to a very good path! ”. Following this result, Politehnica climbed at least temporarily to the 2nd place in League 2, with 27 points obtained from 15 games. In the 17th round, the white-violets play on the field of Unirii Slobozia, a match scheduled for Saturday, February 27, at 11.00.
