The main coach of the Politehnica Timișoara  underlined the importance of the next championship match, the one of over three days, with Metaloglobus Bucharest. “We have a balanced team, a good team, it is important to be inspired at the time of the match with Metaloglobus because it is a final. It’s a six-point game. Metaloglobus, too, has high hopes for the game against us. Because if they win, they get into the cards with real chances for the playoffs “, said Dan Alexa. Asked if the pressure on the white-violets was lower if they won at Slobozia, the coach of the Politehnica replied: “No, we still had to win with Metaloglobus, unfortunately we did not manage to win there and we have to do it on Sunday. We need to maintain our position in the top six. We will stay in two stages, we do not want to depend on the game from Chiajna. You see, Chiajna is a team that has changed a lot for the better. Like Slobozia, like Slatina, teams that can confuse you and can create big problems for you (…) The disadvantage is that in the 20th stage we are. That is why we have to earn our points until the stage in which we will stay, in order not to have emotions in the last game, in Chiajna ”.

“The terrain is acceptable. We hope that at the time of the game it will be better than it was with Buzău. Efforts are being made, people are trying to bring it to an optimal level. Unfortunately, we have this problem, but we have nothing to do, regardless of the turf, we have to look good at the time of the game and win the three points “, concluded Dan Alexa with reference to the playing surface of the” Dan Păltinişanu “arena. “If we take the three points we are 90% in the playoffs. My opinion is that it is the most important match of this season, with a good team, which also hopes for the playoffs. But we must win. Their attacking players are very experienced in League I and League II, execution players, but we hope not to give them the opportunity to have situations or opportunities to score. They have a homogeneous team, they have been playing together for two years and there are still experienced players in League I and in midfield and on defense. They have a good team for the Second League “, said the midfielder Alin Ignea. The match Politehnica Timişoara – Metaloglobus Bucharest is played on Sunday, March 7, at 13.00 (televised), on the “Dan Păltinişanu” stadium, in the 18th stage of League 2. The white-violets occupy the 2nd place, with 28 points from 16 matches, while Bucharest is on the 9th place, with 24 points from 15 games counted.
