Doru Andrei and Denis Radu are two of the young people with whom we are building the future of the blue and white. We are therefore delighted to announce that both junior internationals have extended their contracts with Politehnica until the summer of 2025!

Denis Răzvan Radu was born on 25 March 2003 in Caransebeș. He started playing football at CSS Caransebeș and was also a member of CS Metalul Reșița and LPS Banatul, before joining Politehnica’s junior centre. He made his debut for the senior team at the age of 15 years and nine months. A player who covers the right flank on the pitch, he has so far made 30 appearances in League 2 for the team.

“I’m happy to have signed with Poli, the club that formed me as a senior, matured me, I can say, and that gave me my debut at the age of 15 in League 2. My plans are to make this year as good as possible, in preparation for the next one, in which we want to promote, to bring Poli where it belongs!”, Denis Radu

Doru Cristian Andrei celebrated his 19th birthday yesterday, having been born on 3 February 2003 in Timișoara. The wing midfielder grew up at Comprest GIM București, from where he made the move to Poli in the summer of 2020. He registered 23 games in League 2 and was on the pitch in all the duels in the first part of the championship!

“It’s a very nice gift, I’m very happy to have signed with Politehnica and I hope to do a good job this season and next year to get promoted. On a personal level I wish to score, to break the ice, and to play as many good games as possible in the championship”, Doru Andrei

Must go forward, guys!
