Politehnica Timisoara football team drew with Phoenix Buziaș in the 3rd round of the play-off of the 3rd League.

The score was 2-2 (0-1). After a free-kick by Pamfile, defended by the goalkeeper (4), the guests opened the scoring in the 12th minute, through Ferțu, with a shot from the edge of the box. Poli pressed and looked for an equaliser: D. Popa (17, shot saved by goalkeeper), Prună (19, shot saved by goalkeeper), Olariu (20, shot wide). A series of shots followed, all of which were blocked by the young goalkeeper: Olariu (27), Pamfile (28), D. Popa (33).

In the second half, the hosts again dominated. Curescu (49, shot just wide), Prună (55, shot from outside the box, goalkeeper saves in the corner, under the crossbar), Haloș (57, crossbar), Pamfile (61, shot over) are close to the goal.

It falls in the 66th minute. Curescu sends a shot that the goalkeeper saves in the corner. The corner kick is taken, and stoper R. Ciurel heads into the net. In the 59th minute, the same Curescu is fouled in the box, but the referee gives a yellow for simulation!

In the 77th minute, the logical score turnaround occurs: Pamfile converts a free kick! Three minutes before the end, however, Chistrugă equalizes from the penalty area following a counter-attack. Rotariu has the last chance, a shot wide (90+5).
