The big groups of the Politehnica Academy played today, 27 November, the last championship matches of this calendar year.

Politehnica U19 drew at home against LPS Banatul, 1-1. The goal was scored by Dan Pureca. Sorin Brîndescu’s pupils will find out tomorrow if they will remain leaders during the winter in the play-out of the western series, after the game UTA – Ripensia, the main chasers, two and three points away. Our team will resume the championship on 19 March, on the field of LPS Bihorul (5th stage).

The under-17s also tied by the same score, having met Gaz Metan Mediaș, also at Baza 2, in the fourth stage of the play-out of the Western Series. Patrick Paleacu scored for our team. Politehnica Under 17 remains on the podium, with 19 points, regardless of tomorrow’s result between Kids Tâmpa Brasov and LPS Bihorul Oradea. The team coached by Alin Paleacu will also resume the championship with a game in the stronghold of the latter, also scheduled on 19 March 2022!

Cold shower for one of the Academy’s revelation groups this year. Our under-16s lost, 0-5, away to CFR Cluj, the second placed team in the play-off of the 4th Series! Politehnica U16 (photo) remains on the third position of the ranking, with 28 points, and will have their next match in the Elite League on March 19th, when the white-violet team will host Ripensia.

We remind you that in the U15, Paul Codrea’s team is the leader of the 11th series, with a five-point lead over the second place, occupied by ACS Galaxy Timisoara, after the 7th stage (in which our team stayed).
