“During the whole week I talked to the guys and we knew it was going to be a different type of game, because last game we dominated because we capitalized on the chances we had and we knew that in this game we weren’t going to have as many chances. We knew that the opponent was going to be energetic, very well organized and knew what they had to do in every moment. The fact that the match came right after the other one favored both teams to get to know the opponent better, let’s say. I congratulate Ghiroda for the game they played today, they have their own style and that probably made our evolution difficult today. And not only that. But look behind me a little bit and you will realize how hard it is to play football on a pitch like this. I think it should be a wake-up call if we want as a city more, we should look first of all where we play and the fact that we want to identify with a style of play and the supporters want to identify with this team, it should be a little bit more from everybody because it’s execrable to play on a pitch like that. Sorry to say. I never said it. In the spring, same thing, in the summer – same things. The results were what they were. We were lucky that the fall and winter came and this field was watered by God, otherwise we are with the game that we are that the field doesn’t allow us more. Unfortunately.

The battle is still going to be open, you couldn’t finalize anything after a play-off game, there are still eight games to play. The play between the teams makes practically every match double in value. We will fight for everything we deserve. We’re not going to be handed anything on a plate, we’re aware of that. That’s what I’ve said to the guys in the dressing room right now: nobody is going to give them anything we don’t deserve and we will have to put all our energy and all the football we can play to be able to get a win. It’s clear that nobody will be waiting for us with open arms.

It helps us, it’s an extra point, which in the end can make the difference”, said Cristian Gălan, head coach of Politehnicii Timisoara.
