May 25, 2025 will go down in the history of Politehnica Timișoara Femina, marking the return to the first stage of Romanian women’s football, after a season in the second league.

There was an atmosphere of great celebration at the Estadionul Știința, an atmosphere that we want and hope to have at all home matches in the Women’s Superliga.

The last round of the season brought the United Bihor team to Timisoara, in a match without history, which ended 8-0 for our champions. Andreea Șepețan scored a brace, captain Dana Cioablă a hattrick, putting her name on the list of scorers Bucșa twins, Aida and Ariana, along with Elena Petrișor.

The match against United Bihor also saw two debuts for the 2009 juniors:

– goalkeeper Mara Ghișe, who played in the second half of the season in the Under 17 group

– Eva Sîrbu, official debut for our team, back after a cruciate ligament rupture suffered last year, before she had the chance to play any minutes in the blue and white.

After the final whistle of the match, our team was honored with medals presented by FRF representative Raluca Șerban, the highlight of which was the presentation of the trophy by Simona Amânar, multiple Olympic, World and European champion in gymnastics, and its lifting by captains Dana Cioablă and Anda Jivan.

The day ended on the stage of our friends at the Timisoara Music Awards, where we presented the League 2 champion trophy to the audience.

Politehnicii Timisoara’s squad this season: Cosmina Roșu, Alessia Solomon, Mara Ghișe, Bianca Corsei, Irina Apostol, Gabriela Ivăncescu, Anisia Medre, Elena Petrișor, Alexia Suba, Alexia Vasilescu, Sara Codrea, Alexandra Pogăcean, Maria Poșea, Anda Jivan, Tania Noje, Aida Bucșa, Ariana Bucșa, Dana Cioablă, Carla Levițchi, Giorgiana Mateescu, Anastasia Grecu-Băiaș, Ionela Năstăsoiu, Andreea Șepețan, Iasmina Iova, Surya Matei, Briana Răban, Teodora Coza.
