No comment: CS Mioveni – Politehnica 4-0

Our team suffered a drastic failure today in Argeş County, in the fourth round of the play-off. It was CS Mioveni – Politehnica 4-0 (2-0), after a very weak match of the white-violets.

The Polytechnic went to Mioveni without Alin Ignea, absent due to medical reasons. The first minutes brought a few goal phases for our team. After 2 minutes, following yet another great corner, Denis Radu knocked the ball to the limit of Iustin Popescu’s reach, who just couldn’t put it in the net. Then, in the 17th minute, Plazonja sent from 18 meters, but the ball avoided the right of the goalkeeper. The home side then controlled the first half and opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, when Măr caught Hindrich with a vault from outside the box. The first half ended with two goals for the hosts, Coşereanu resuming under the crossbar Blănaru’s cross from the 44th minute.

The second half could have been different. The 55th minute brought the elimination of Oancea from the hosts, who stepped on Axente without the ball. 11 minutes later, however, Popovici sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. 3 – 1 was the halftime score. The white-purples had more of a possession after 81 minutes, but Axente made a great block, though. The 90th minute also brought the goal for Mioveni, after a tangled phase in the opponent’s box, the goal of honor did not come, instead, in the next phase, Rusu escaped to the goal and served Işfan, who set the final score with a good shot near the bar.

After this game, Politehnica remained the last ranked player of the League 2 play-off, with only 33 points. The next match will be on Saturday, at 12.30, with FK Csikszereda, a duel scheduled at home.
