Without a doubt, Octavian Ursu is one of the important players who joined our team this summer. Returned after two years at Politehnica, he and his teammates want to make the match in Cluj forgotten and the white-violet team to return with points from the Danube.

“I came back with a lot of heart, I really felt good last time when I played at Poli. We found a very good squad, a coach who does his job very well. Unfortunately I think we were too relaxed in the game in Cluj and we took a cold shower, but I think the attitude will change in the next game and we will definitely win the three points in Calarasi”, said Tavi Ursu.

“Competition is beneficial for every player, that’s the only way to grow. I certainly came to play, I have two promotions behind me, I am an experienced player and I will show nice things”, he added during the press conference.

Octavian Ursu, who has two consecutive promotions in Liga 1, the last one with Rapid, is optimistic about the new season. “I can’t figure out what Poli is like yet, I’ve only played one game. The squad is probably pretty good. We can make a good impression, but for that we have to have attitude and not be relaxed, as we were in the Cluj game,” the 26-year-old concluded.
