Several current or former players of Politehnica Timisoara are called up for friendly matches under the “tricolor”.

Marius Marin (from Pisa), a former Politehnica player, is in the Romanian senior team. Romania will play tonight at home against Slovenia and on Sunday in Chisinau against Moldova.

The U19 national youth team held a training camp in Slovenia, during which the team coached by former Polist Alexandru Pelici also played two friendly matches against the local team. Dan Pureca (from Politehnica) and Tudor Moțiu (from CSC Dumbrăvița, on loan from Politehnica) were also part of the squad. Romania U19 is qualified for the Elite Tournament for the EC 2023.

Politehnica will not play a friendly match this weekend. The League II championship is interrupted due to the matches of the Romanian national teams.
