Our club responded to the call to the community launched by the Timisoara City Hall on the occasion of the adoption campaign for stray dogs in the public shelter, carried out by the municipality, the company that has under concession the service of managing the stray dog population and animal protection associations.

Politehnica Timișoara, in collaboration with Danyflor, the animal protection association Ecovet and the Timișoara City Hall, will organize a dog adoption fair on the occasion of the Politehnica Timișoara – Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc match, which will take place on Saturday, 18 September 2021, at the Dan Păltinișanu stadium. The Adoption Fair will be held at the entrance of Stand 1, from 3 to 4.30 pm.

The blue and white footballers will also take to the pitch (17.00) with some of the puppies that need a new home!

We want to provide the visibility our team enjoys to raise awareness of the phenomenon of abandonment and the need to adopt stray dogs, actively promoting the “adopt, don’t shop!” concept.

At Danyflor there are around 400 homeless dogs every day. Animal-loving Timisoara residents can also adopt dogs directly from the shelter every day during working hours and detailed information can be found at www.danyflor.ro.

As part of the campaign, 5 dog adoption fairs are scheduled, under the slogan “Me too, I look good on a leash! Take me home!”.
