Today, December 4, is the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Sports Society of Timisoara Polytechnic School. Over a century of uninterrupted sporting activity, with athletes, students and extraordinary characters, who have cultivated over time the identity and spirit of Politehnica: performance, fair play, solidarity, tolerance, moderation, civility, balance, responsibility, mutual understanding.

Politehnica Timișoara is, without a doubt, the most successful sports club of Timișoara and Banat. It has won dozens of titles and hundreds of top placings in national and international championships in team and individual sports.

It has had memorable highs and dramatic lows.

There have been moments of joy and fulfilment, but also moments of disappointment, mainly because of football.

There were years in which Timisoara and Banat lived and breathed under the blue and white colours, but also times of disappointment and disillusionment.

Poli continued to exist and will continue to endure and perform, despite all the inherent hardships, adversities of all kinds, while maintaining its belonging to the spirit and values of the School that gave it its identity and fame.
