Politehnica Timișoara meets Progresul Pecica for the third time this season. On Saturday, the duel in Arad county will count for the 11th round of the regular season of League 3.

On August 7, in the second round of the Romanian Cup, Poli qualified in Pecica after a penalty shootout (8-6, after 3-3 and 5-3 penalties respectively). A month later, in the regular season round at the “Electrica”, it was a 1-1 draw. The games between the two have so far been hotly contested.

There are games that are decided by one situation or one inaccuracy and then we will have to work hard to win the three points. It is clear that both teams will fight for the points at stake. It is clear that they will also be determined, being at home, but this makes us to be the same and try to win the game“, said Cristian Gălan, head coach of Politehnicii Timisoara.

The team is still without the contribution of players Victor Prună and Cosmin Huminic, but the other players with medical problems have gradually returned to a normal training program.
