The good news continues to come from the academy troops involved in the Elite League.

Politehnica U19 was the big performer of the 10th round, winning 2-1 at the field of champions FK Csikszereda, the team that represented Romania in the UEFA Youth League and also the leader of the western series before this weekend! Ralf Kuhn and Dan Pureca scored the goals for the white-violets, who are now closer to qualifying for the play-offs.

Alin Paleacu’s under-17s confirm their revival after their fourth win of the season. A 3-0 win in Miercurea Ciuc! Patrick Paleacu, Fabian Marincu and Denis Boariu scored for Politehnica and our team keeps its chances to finish in the Top 6.

Yesterday, the U16 white-violets scored again in the 4th Series. It was now 9-0 against ACS Tîrgu Mureș 1898, with goals by Răzvan Erceanu (5 goals!), Seba Avramescu, Denis Tătaru, Dragoș State, plus an own goal by the guests. A result that ensures the participation of Cristi Gălan’s youngsters in the play-off with one round before the end of the regular season!

Next weekend schedules derbies for our juniors. In the U19 and U17, Politehnica welcomes at Base 2 the replica of UTA’s similar formations, on Saturday, October 30, from 12:00 and 14:00 respectively. While the U16s face Ripensia at the “Ciarda Roșie” arena on the same day from 10:00.
