Politehnica managed to win away to Periam after a modest game. It was 3-0 against the local team Avântul, with goals – scored in the last quarter of an hour – by Olariu (76, 86) and D. Popa (90+1).

Coach Codrea was again faced with a list full of unavailable players: Murariu, Huminic, Tudoran, Careba, Haloș (injured, the last one only formally on the reserve list), Mura (suspended).

On the day of the match, goalkeeper Miklos turned 24. At the end, the Poles’ gallery sang “Happy Birthday” to him. The reserve goalkeeper was junior Traia (b. 2006), while Balica was on loan at Cermei.

Thus Periam remains without a point in this championship edition.
