Paul Codrea, coach of Politehnica Timisoara:

“It was indeed a balanced match, as we knew, as we prepared, we knew that Peciu is a good, compact team, they don’t give you many spaces. But we prepared the match to be patient. It turned out that in the end we managed to find the gap and win. Indeed it was also a bit of a struggle, a local derby. I would like to congratulate Peciu because they deservedly beat us in the first leg, now I think we deservedly won. There are three more games against them, so I think we’ll get bored of each other. We’re still hoping to keep 2nd place, it won’t be easy, but we’re trying. This match is a good sign for us.”
