Timisoara is the city of neighbourhoods. Older, newer, each with its own charm and landmarks. On match day, that’s where the supporters come from, from the blocks, from the houses, each from the area where they live. Because Politehnica is the team of the city and therefore the team of its neighbourhoods.

For the new season we aim to focus much more on our neighbourhoods and our supporters who live there. For this we need your support, people from the lawn, supporters of the stands or simple supporters of Timisoara’s flagship team – Politehnica.

We want to come to the neighbourhoods, close to the supporters, with actions to promote the club, the sport, the notion of a healthy lifestyle, interacting with people and creating strong bonds. We need volunteers to get involved in organising these actions, coordinating them, attracting new volunteers and keeping in touch with existing ones.

We have divided the city into 22 districts, we are looking for volunteers in each of them! In this way we can bring Politehnica closer to the people who once filled the stadium stands, to bring them back to the traditional club we love. For the moment we are starting this project only with Timisoara, but we plan to extend it to the neighbouring areas, where we know that many Poles live (Dumbrăvița, Ghiroda, Giroc, Șag, etc.)!

What will you mainly have to do if you decide to join?

Maintain constant contact with the club’s marketing and image department to establish actions that can be carried out in the neighbourhoods (we want to visit each neighbourhood during a season with at least one action with the senior team in a park, on a school field, etc.).
Identify new potential volunteers in your neighbourhood to bring to our team
Communicate and work together with volunteers in your neighbourhood to have as many cool initiatives as possible!
Identify potential places in your neighbourhood where we can advertise Politehnica Timisoara (poster locations, mesh locations, partner locations where we can advertise or sell tickets)
Identify potential small and medium sized club partners, “street” businesses where we can promote ourselves or who would like to support the club financially or in the form of a barter. Reward any new advertising or service contracts brought to the club!
Organize your volunteer team and contribute to street poster campaigns or flyer distribution in your area, at home games or major events
We want to organise a football championship between neighbourhoods, in league format (groups + knockout phase), played on neighbourhood fields, with the final phases played at the Science Stadium. We need you to help us in the organisation of this championship by identifying teams, managing registrations and the match schedule.

Access to the “Third Round” – exclusive event dedicated to volunteers, in a select location, at the end of the 2022/2023 season. The event will present the activity report and discuss opportunities for the 2023/2024 season
We are awarding the most active neighborhood and the most active viola volunteer troop! We offer a 5-day holiday in the summer camp of the Polytechnic to the volunteer team with the most proposals and the most actions during the 2022/2023 season, plus spending money! “Teambuilding” will take place in the summer of 2023, in July, details to be determined at a later date.
We also award monthly prizes to the most active purple neighborhood, the most active volunteer team! At the end of each month we analyze the activity of each team and those who have contributed the most to the promotion of the Polytechnic will receive from us tickets to a nice event (concert, play, festival, etc.). We pay for the consumption 🙂
