Gabriel Plumbuitu has joined Politehnica Timisoara on loan until the end of the current season, with the possibility of an extension. In the first part of the season he played for Metaloglobus București, also on loan from Gaz Metan Mediaș.

Gabriel Valentin Plumbuitu was born on 14 February 2004 in Bucharest. He grew up at Daco-Getica București, for which he made his debut with a goal in League 2 at the age of 15, in a 5-2 win over Dacia Unirea Brăila! In 2020 he was transferred by Gaz Metan Mediaș, where he became the first player born in 2004 to debut in Liga I. In the first part of the 2021-22 season he made six appearances for Metaloglobus București. He captained the U16 national team, for which he scored one goal in eight caps, and is a versatile player. Gabriel can be used both at right-back and in other positions in the midfield.
