Politehnica U18 and U17 teams played at home this weekend, while the U16 white-violet played “away”, all opponents were teams from Cluj-Napoca. If in the 3rd round our teams lost in the away matches under Feleac, in the matches of the 7th stage with the Ardelenians there was one success, that of the boys trained by Cristi Gălan with the Viitorul Football Academy in the U17 Elite League, but also two other defeats: 0-2 with the U18 team of the same club, respectively a 1-5 at “U” of our U16 kids.

Youth League
With enough changes in the team, the youngsters coached by Cristi Petcu, strengthened with Marco Andone (the only “over-age” player out of a total of three admitted by the rules), succumbed at Base 2 in a ranking duel with Viitorul Cluj. At half-time the score was blank. Following this defeat our under-18 team dropped to 9th place in the Western Series, with nine points from seven games.
